On our road trip we were looking for a stop, conveniently located on our way to Yellowstone and we booked the Ruby suite to stay with our 3 teenage girls.
The Harkness Hotel’s style and design exceeded our expectations, unexpected in McCammon. High ceilings, old history mixed with modern design. Very nice light from ceiling. We liked the suite so much that we decided to stay to prepare a top notch yummy dinner. Kitchen is very well equipped and owners helped us with the missing bits for our 3 course dinner.
Beds are super comfortable.
The Harkness Hotel is also very close to Lava Hot springs, next time we need to stay a day longer to benefit from the natural hot pools.

Aaron and his wife have done an incredible job with the hotel, they were both so friendly and welcoming. The Harkness Hotel rivals Salt Lake City’s finest hotels. Did I mention we love this place?

We stayed in the Ebony room. It is beautiful. I was very impressed with the custom detail. The tall ceilings and windows add a very elegant feel in addition to the renovation and top quality design. The bathroom is stellar. The tile is beautiful. We were able to tour the building tonight and I feel the renovation is incredible. They were able to add a modern touch to a historical building all while accenting the original architecture of the building. Really, I just can’t say enough nice things. In addition to the wonderful accommodations, the owners have been so kind to us while we’ve been here. I would recommend staying here to all of my friends.
